Our core services

This page explains what each service includes, what to bring to the consultation, and how we approach time and pricing. Tattoo work isn’t sold as a one-size menu—needle grouping, saturation, and the number of passes depend on the brief and the skin area—so we confirm a realistic plan before booking a long session.

Flagship

Custom Tattoo Design & Session

A full brief-to-session service for original pieces. We translate reference into an executable design, then confirm placement with a stencil check in natural posture. During the session, we pace the work to protect line quality and skin condition, using an approach that fits the piece: single needle for fine line, larger groupings for smooth shading, and layered passes for colour saturation.

  • Included: design brief review, stencil alignment, sterile setup, and written aftercare.
  • Typical time: 2–5 hours for most mid-size pieces; larger work may be multi-session.
  • Pricing approach: confirmed after the brief is reviewed to match scope and detail.

Fine Line & Minimal

Fine line work is about discipline: consistent line weight, deliberate spacing, and placement that respects movement. We also account for how a piece may soften as it heals, especially on high-friction areas. Expect a consult-first approach even for small pieces so the stencil lands correctly and the scale reads cleanly from a normal viewing distance.

Typical time: 60–120 minutes Best for: small to medium pieces

Colour & Illustrative

Colour work depends on contrast and layering order. We plan the palette and the passes—base tones, saturation layers, then highlights—so the tattoo heals evenly and retains separation between shapes. When a project is larger, we split it into sessions with sensible recovery time to keep the skin calm and the colour crisp.

Typical time: 2–4 hours Layered approach

Safe Piercing

Piercing is treated as a placement-and-healing service, not a quick transaction. We talk through anatomy, jewellery sizing, and how movement affects healing. After the procedure, you get an aftercare routine that’s specific to the placement and your day-to-day constraints.

Typical time: 20–45 minutes plus an aftercare briefing.

Custom Art Pieces

Commissioned studio artwork created with the same sketch discipline we use for tattoos. This service is ideal if you want a design developed before committing to placement, or if you want a standalone piece for your space. We agree scope, medium, and delivery timeline before starting.

How we scope time and pricing

Tattoo pricing is tied to execution, not hype. Two designs that look similar on a phone can take very different time once you factor in placement, stencil adjustments, skin behaviour, and density of detail. To keep everything transparent, we scope your brief into an appointment plan. That plan names the artist, the likely session length, and whether the work needs a second pass for shading or colour.

  1. 01

    Brief review and style matching

We start with the practical details: placement area, approximate size, and reference that shows the style language (fine line, blackwork, illustrative, colour realism). Matching to an artist matters because line speed, needle groupings, and shading techniques vary by style.

  2. 02

    Stencil and placement logic

Placement is where many tattoos succeed or fail. We check alignment in normal posture and movement so the design sits naturally. If the area has strong curvature, we may propose minor design edits so the stencil holds shape and the healed result reads cleanly.

  3. 03

    Session plan (passes and pacing)

We decide whether the piece is best done in a single sitting or in multiple sessions. The plan might be linework first, then shading, then colour saturation. This is unglamorous, but it protects both the skin and the quality of the work.

  4. 04

    Clear estimate and aftercare handover

Once the scope is clear, we can provide a realistic estimate. After the appointment, you receive written aftercare guidance tailored to the work performed. Healing is part of the service, not an afterthought.
