Practical answers based on how our studio actually runs: consultation first, clear session planning, and a sterile workflow. If you have a specific placement or style question, you can request a consultation from this page.
Use the consultation form below or call the studio. For tattoos, include placement area, approximate size, and a style reference (fine line, blackwork, illustrative, colour). For piercing, include the piercing type you’re considering and whether you need jewellery guidance. We confirm availability and recommend the best artist for the work based on line quality, shading language, and session pacing.
Yes. A consultation turns an idea into decisions: placement, scale, line weight, and a clear plan for linework and shading. If a piece needs more than one session, we map the sequence so it progresses methodically (for example, linework first, then shading, then colour/detail passes). You’ll leave with a realistic estimate, not a vague promise.
Estimates depend on size, placement, density of detail, and how the skin typically tolerates the required passes. Fine line and small lettering may be 60–120 minutes, while larger illustrative or colour pieces often require multiple sessions. During consultation we discuss scope and provide an expected range, along with the practical factors that drive it (stencil complexity, shading density, and the number of passes needed for clean saturation).
Eat beforehand, hydrate, and avoid heavy alcohol the night before. Wear clothing that gives clean access to the placement area (and that you don’t mind getting ink on). If you have references, bring a small set that clearly shows the style; it’s easier to translate a few strong references into clean linework than to reconcile dozens of mixed examples.
Stencil placement is checked in a relaxed posture and with natural movement so the design sits where it should when you’re not holding a “perfect” pose. This matters on areas that rotate or flex (forearms, shoulders, ribs). If needed, we test two placements and choose the one that reads best once the body area is moving normally.
We use single-use needles and disposable barrier protection, and we follow a methodical cleaning routine between clients. The work area is prepared as a controlled setup so cross-contact risk stays low. Aftercare guidance is provided at the end of the session so healing support is aligned with the work performed.

Still unsure? Send a short brief
If your question depends on placement or size, a brief is faster than a long back-and-forth. Share what you want, where you want it, and a rough timeframe. We’ll recommend the right artist and outline the next steps.
